Great place for gem or stones, pet friendly
Wal's place was a great budget stop over. Friendly campers to chat to to and hot showers. Just out of town short drive to local amenities. Wal has plenty of Aussie droving yarns to share.
Visited twice in last 2 years. Simple cheap cheerful. Limited tent camping but hot shower.
Wal's Camp is a fine outback camp for overnighting. Plenty of shady roomy sites and the facilities although old and quaint are clean. Dog friendly.
Great spot to camp, electricity and water for $25. The host are happy and friendly and can't do enough for you. You can stay hitched up if you want. Has dump point. Plenty of shade, quiet camp on the edge of Cloncurry.
